As you insisted on the css part, I made some research on the internet about the
inline-block you mentionned and thanks to you, I finally understood why it
makes a difference only by indenting the html code.

I don't know how 6.1 handles the media field of pages table, but in 6.2 the
media field itself just contains a number of assigned media. To get the images
from there you may use the FILES cObject
(docs.typo3.org/typo3cms/TyposcriptReference/ContentObjects/Files/Index.html).

I just get the images from default language (pages). I am using the FILES
