If you care about line breaks inside your JSON strings you're doing something
wrong, imho.

So json_encode already handles line breaks properly.

I have edited the HTML that defined the structure of the page - the templates.
Now I can see that the backend page reports some "errors" because it wants to
update the page.
However it says that the data structure XML will be overwritten and manual
changes deleted.

Surprisingly, all these problems doesn't affect the t3quixplorer
extension ; I can use the "Quixplorer" module in the BE without any
errors, the file tree and all its content is listed, I can browse it.
