admin should be able to tell you which IP addresses the requests are

Thanks for all the help. Haven't been able to solve the problem yet. Looked at
the templates but couldn't see a problem there. Best thing is probably to
update the Typo3 version first but are waiting for FTP details to backup the
site as I read that updating doesn't always go smoothly.

Our network administrator changed this morning the configuration of our
proxy... from one machine (serving a connection pool of 64000 connection to our
TYPO3 server and others) to 4 machines serving different connection pools.
