Thank you for your efforts in responding to my issue.
I am embarrassed to say that here we have a case of user error! The login
portion of this site was imported as a T3D from the old site, and I failed to
redirect the Login plugin to the correct sysfolder for Fe Users and
SaltedPasswords has been configured correctly and works as expected.
The frontend is configured to use SaltedPasswords with RSA authentication.

On a 4.5 LTS site BE users suddenly cannot log in with their correct
credentials. I could use the Install Tool to create a new admin user, but that
user also could not log in.

When importing translations back into TYPO3 with l10nmgr we are running
into errors in some languages with RTE content elements. TemplaVoila
flexible content elements don't have an issue.

On a site with ddgooglesitemap installed we have a page not in menu that

On one admin login I tried to view too many Admin Tools|Log entries, and
the system timed out. Since the TYPO3 backend recalls your previous
settings, now I have no way to set a lower number. Every time I go back
to view the Log, it tries to view too many entries.

I am trying to put a login form on every page, substituting a logout
form when someone is logged in.
Every time an existing user tries to log in, the browser asks if they
want to change their password and they get a login failure. The same

The databases are on the same server. And the common (same) user can
access both databases.
The configuration in Magento | System | Configuration | TYPO3 Connector
is correct.
