Yes, gridelement work in the backend. On TYPO3 8.7 and gridelements 8.0 I
can't manualy edit backend layout. If I use backend layout from backend, it
works correctly. But if I use backend layout (page ts) defined from file, which

only thing: the icon - i think a path at the icon dont work anymore, i think
you must use iconidentifier...
and have you delete your backendlayout in the backend? cleared cache?

Yes, all file are included. I chek, this configuration works on TYPO3 7.6 with
gridelements 7.2.0 and don't work on TYPO3 8.7 with gridelements 8.0.0

Have you included it in pageTSConfig or in TSConfig? In the backend template
(menu type) or in page settings?
You have to set the backendlayouts definition (or and gridelements layouts) in
the page settings.

work if setup key = 1 and in pagets key = 1

your key does not match your backendtemplate key...
you have in setup key = 1 and in pagets key = 2-teaser
