On update of TYPO3 from 4.5.0 to 4.5.3 strange thing happened - backend
become blank.
Is there any reason why you upgraded recently from 4.5.0 to 4.5.3 and
not 4.5.10 [1]?

typo3temp and temp_CACHED... were cleared as well.
