[TYPO3-english] PHP 5.2.x

Which versions of TYPO3 can run with PHP 5.2.something? I know that 4.6 uses 5.3, but the server where I shall be running TYPO3 only has 5.2.17. How can I find out what the latest version of TYPO3 is, that will run with php 5.2.17? ___

Thanks for your thoughts Oliver. Tough break with that bulb, guess I'm just looking for any suggestions coming out of past experience... Our project board discussed bringing in an external consultant, but decided it would take too long for a re-launch as user anticipation is pretty high.
