everything fine except the HTML-mails which are send out to the
recipient, the markup is incorrect and disforms the email...is there a
setting to force tx_form to send out only plain-text mails?

Appears that you will have to write an additional postprocessor for that
(as for any other extra feature)...I'll take that route and let you know.
