All,
Is anyone running UniVerse PE successfully on Vista? I just bought
(against my will) a Vista Home Premium system. PE installs and the shell
works, but I don't seem to be able to create accounts or telnet to it.
All help appreciated.
You'll end up with the first occurrence if you use 1 for the specified
occurrence. INDEX, will, however, only return the position of a/the
single occurrence of a substring the user specifies.

Hi Chuck
Vista is not supported yet. A release was supposed to be out by August.
There are a number of problems. I could not get the telnet server to work,
but I could get uniobjects to run.
The best recommendation I would have is to run UniVerse in virtual PC on
linux or XP or NT.

If you call !SET.PTR with the print channel set to -2-ABS(printchannel)
UniVerse will return the SETPTR settings.
