I think IBM's versions officially work on Red Hat. Somewhere along the line one
of the cpio arguments' official meanings has been reversed, and I think RH
hasn't changed.
You're probably right in saying it's the c option, which now in most non-RH
distros has exactly the *opposite* effect that

I am using the Unidata functions to create a SOAP call to an external
webservice. I am accessing the service, but its not getting the data I am
passing. Does anyone know of an easy way I can view the XML created by the
