I have a user who is hitting a limit a paragraph using the DOWNLOAD
command and wonder if anyone can help.
The DOWNLOAD command is building a text file in the hold directory that
contains 185 fields. The problem she is having is with the LITERAL
option. She is using LITERAL to create headings for each field in the
text file and receives the "Paragraph sentence too long" error message
at the 182 LITERAL statement.
Any idea why this is happening?
The DOWNLOAD HELP MAX returns the following:
DOWNLOAD version 7.11
The following limits are defined for DOWNLOAD:
Input data files referenced directly..........10
Dictionary fields referenced directly........300
EVAL expressions.............................100
SUBR expressions.............................200
Subroutine arguments per subroutine...........10
Output record types (detail lines)............10
Break fields..................................25
I have not used or researched download much and would appreciate any
insight provided.
Thanks,
Manuel
