If this question ever does come to some kind of vote, people need to understand what they're voting for and against. Google mail works exactly the same as what we have here, just a different address and no ReplyTo confusion. You do not need to read Google groups in a browser, mail comes to you just like it does now, individually or in digest. Reading forums from a browser is an option for people who want to do so. This is not to express opinion about the topic of changing lists, just to correct what seems to be a common misunderstanding of the options.
