The ENVIRONMENT command can be used inside UniVerse to adjust the shell TZ varaible, and it has an immediate impact on UniVerse DATE() and TIME() functions. We have used this to great effect, having all the required Timzone info we need stored inside UV. Gregor Scott Development Department Reyn

We have one office in the Mountain Time Zone, and another in Arizona, which doesn't use Daylight Saving Time. What options do you have for handling this correctly? I've written scripts that are executed at login to set the TZ variable. I'd like to see if someone does it easier. I've chosen not to
