BLIST does a great job of formatting programs, but you can not save them
back to the file. It does have lots of options to serve as a tool for
tracing problems with source code, but it is only temporary.

Yes AE will format using the format command, or Unidebugger or Wintegrate
Editor etc.

I believe that you format basic programs in the editor. Not vi, but the TCL
editor. I think the command is 'format' and there may be some indent
options.
