It has always been my opinion that any TCL verb, function, or whatever should be able to process a select list if one is present. All of the utilities I write have this capability, along with help. :-) Bill - Origin

That has not been our experience. The actual workings of the program are not well explained in the UV doco. I did find in the UV11 UniOLEDB PDF an explanation of sorts: * Scans the dictionaries of all nonsystem files named in the VOC, finding all associations and unassociated multivalued column
