Re: [U2] ActiveDirectory with Your MultiValue Application
What we will cover in this webinar is how to query U2 user or your application user against an Activedirectory. This will allow you to validate the user and password if wanted against AD, as well as return which security groups this user is in. Mainly at an application level. If you want to do it at a file level, then your OS needs to support Activedirectory authentication. This usually requires SSH to be used when logging in. -Nathan On 6/18/2013 12:39 PM, Wjhonson wrote: I see this webinar ActiveDirectory with Your MultiValue Application Interesting. Does this mean perhaps, when I go to write a file to a Windows location, I can pre-read the permissions and ensure that this logged in used has the permission to write? If so that might be useful to integrate into some of our application code. Anyone comment on that? The only thing I see on this webinar is rather brief. -- Nathan Rector International Spectrum, Inc http://www.intl-spectrum.com Phone: 720-259-1356 ___ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users
Re: [U2] DEBUG in a Phantom issue
It's my belief based on pure speculation, that the "INPUT" at the Debug abort prompt is *not* the same code as the BASIC INPUT statement, and so it is not being handled at all properly. Probably this should be reported to Rocket to be fixed, something like "when a phantom encounters a DEBUG statement kill it" ? Or something -Original Message- From: David A. I would think the input at the ! prompt would have aborted the phantom, but it just kept going saying invalid input over and over and over. just about filled the disk. UniData 6.1 David A. Re: [U2] Not a U2 question - Graphics on a dot matrix
Is there a windows driver for it? If so you could use mvPDF rather than Esc-P to drive the graphics. Might be a lot easier in the long run.
