HTML to Universe conversion codes
Does anyone have a complete list of the unique HTML conversions 'codes' and their Universe equivalents when passing data from an html page to Universe using the form 'post' method. For example the string '%26' is '' in Universe. Would you share this list with me? Thank you in advance. Lee J Messenger Sr VP Operations [EMAIL PROTECTED] DLT Transportation Services, Inc. RE: Barcode printing
We will be using our existing HP team printers to generate the barcodes. Greg Bonebrake with PPI in St Louis sent me some code to generate 128 barcodes that works great. Thanks again Greg for your quick response. Lee J Messenger Sr VP Operations [EMAIL PROTECTED] DLT Transportation Services, Inc. I have reviewed the archives at IndexFocus and found some references to examples, however the 2 of 5 example only handles numeric data and the link to the 128 barcode was no longer active. Can anyone provide me with some information or examples. We are a Windows environment with HP printers. Any assistance would be appreciated. Extracting data directly from dbf files...
Has anyone developed any processes to natively read '.dbf' type files from within Universe basic? I know we could use ODBC or UniObjects but prefer a more direct approach. RE: Text file to PDF
Trevor, We have used a utility called 'txt2pdf' since 1999 and it has worked and performed very well. It integrates well and is quite reasonably priced. Look for it at www.sanface.com (By the way, we receive no gratuities/royalties for this suggestion.) Lee J Messenger Sr VP Operations [EMAIL PROTECTED] DLT Transportation Services, Inc.
