Is anyone know how to release the lock of port.status . In Unix
level i cannot grep port.status as well as in LIST.READU found no user
executing this command. Is there anyway to release this lock or to check out
who is using the PORT.STATUS

The PORT.STATUS command is usually locked by a semaphore. You can check the
status of semaphores by using the SEMAPHORE.STATUS command (nomrally only
available in the uv account)
To unlock the PORT.STATUS semaphore:

If this is a *nix machine, scrap the IP based authentication, lockout
telnet and use ssh with public key based authentication. If it's a
windoze machine, it's already insecure by definition, so why worry about

Webex works, but it's far from inexpensive. I use Genesys and despite
having some past difficulties, it's inexpensive and getting more
reliable every day.
