[U2] Eclipse and U2

2004-08-04 Thread Horn, John
A while back on the list there was some discussion of writing a plug-in for Eclipse to work with U2 through UniObjects. Did this go anywhere? Has anyone worked on this? - jmh --- u2-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/

Behalf Of Allen E. Elwood Ohh.lemme see, could it be that I've never heard of REMOVE? :-D Oh boy a new toy to play with. I'll give it a whirl in my speedtest program and see which is more efficient!!! Be prepared to be impressed! It's amazing how much faster REMOVE can be in

RE: [U2] READU ... THEN _or_ ELSE but not both?

2004-10-29 Thread Horn, John
On Behalf Of Wendy Smoak Am I reading this right? When I READU I can either have a THEN or an ELSE, but not both? (That it does not compile with both tends to confirm that...) This snippet of code compiles on Unidata 6.0: ID=??? OPEN ,VOC TO BLAH ELSE

RE: [U2] UniObjects for Java Unnamed Common Corruption

2004-12-10 Thread Horn, John
Behalf Of Sean W Ferguson I have recently encountered a very strange UniObjects bug. I have an application that includes a file containing unnamed commons. The application calls a subroutine that also includes that same unnamed common. In my experience unnamed commons tend to get a

[U2] Subroutine utility

2005-02-22 Thread Horn, John
Have any of you every seen or heard of a utility that would take a Pick program and identify what programs were called by that program and continue to transverse down those programs until all programs were identified? - John M. Horn IT Technical Expert HealthLink, Inc. 314-989-6050

RE: [U2] phantom COMO file message

2006-02-02 Thread Horn, John
On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sorry, I was not clear, I know where the _PH_ records are and how to view and create them, I was asking for a listing of various messages that Unidata would write to them, not just what is captured by the PHANTOM or COMO ON commands as out put. Thanks!

2006-02-08 Thread Horn, John
On Behalf Of Barry Brevik Aside from CALL @VARIABLENAME, is there any way to branch indirectly in universe? This would be really useful for me. ON-GOSUB might work for you. Though it isn't a particularly popular technique. (Almost as bad as a ON-GOTO.) (I assume UV has this, I know UDT

On Behalf Of Sharyl Lindsay Ever since they changed the 'reply to' from the list to a person, I feel the list has died a slow death. I've been thinking of unsubscribing myself but I just can't bring myself to lose the chance to stop learning *something* just because I think the list

Our system does the 1=Y, 2=N thing too. It is so that folks who are keying on the keypad all day can stay on the keypad as much as possible without having to go look for the Y or N keys. Keeps up productivity. Or at least that is the theory. That's my story and I'm sticking with it. - jmh
