I know this could be done
This program works for Universe on a UNIX machine giving three commands
PATH FULL would give aprompt like /usr/ibm/uv>
PATHwould give a prompt like uv>
PATH CLEAR would give a prompt like >
PROGRAM PATH
I know this could be done in Universe but I'm pretty sure it cannot be
done in Unidata. I think it had to do with the amount of space in
memory that is allocated to the prompt "character" (singular). It's
been quite a long time ago that looked into this, though.

It used to be byte 0 of frame 6, in the old Microdata Reality/R83 days... :)
