NEC Laboratories Europe is an international team of researchers on digital health. In particular, our data science group combines multiple modalities of data, including demographics, imaging, genetics and medical history, to make clinically-relevant predictions. These predictions lead to more informed health care decisions and, ultimately, improved patient outcomes. NLE is looking for a student to carry out an internship at our premises in Heidelberg, Germany. The focus will be on applying and extending our state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms on real-world clinical data. The internship includes the following work items:
