Uncertainty Reasoning Laboratory (URL LAB) Department of Computer Science Queens College/City University of New York
We are seeking postdoctoral associates for projects related to Bayesian network structure learning, decision making under uncertainty, and their applications to interdisciplinary areas. An associate is expected to develop a research program in one or more of the above areas and interact with graduate students and collaborators. An ideal candidate for this project should have research experience in graphical models, machine learning, and/or optimization in additional to excellent programming skills. The expected start time is fall 2013. The position is for one year and has the possibility of renewal for a second year. Salary will be competitive.
