It'd be worth it to see what the b5 would do with such a short shot.
I'm a believer after finally deploying one.
I am shooting through the top of a pine on a 7 mile link. I can still get 500+

We had considered using the 3.65 dishdual slant is certainly a good idea.
Heck, that might even be pretty good for 2.4 ghz

I've had success doing it 2-3 times. Even with M series radios in the mix. Use
dual slant for sure.

Powercode does it with any smart phone / iPad / touch tablet
Even works with a mouse
We have used a installation complete form that is required to be signed
when they log into the portal the first time with T's
Our installer gets them logged into portal and they sign it

One of our companies uses VISP and VISP requires that you use their
RADIUS servers.
The other company has on-premise RADIUS, but no billing system
integration. We just manage it manually (using the daloRADIUS
interface).
Thanks for the responses everyone.
So I figured RADIUS was inevitable, and I have no issues with this as I
have good linux guys on staff.
Bear with me here. Did you have to develop your own middleware to query
your billing system or use a billing system provider (VISP, etc) that will
send info
RADIUS. We're using RADIUS for SM auth on UBNT M5 gear (which is

MikroTik for MAC authentication. On UBNT 5AC gear, we use WPA2-AES

After much searching over the past to years, we decided to go with VISP. We
just finished the testing stage. Will start the network setup in about 2
weeks.

Hi All,
I want to implement some form of authentication for my Customer SMs (beside
of course the wireless pre-shared key).
Can anyone give some good advice on what works to do this (Radius, etc).

Pardon the newb. I know that XM and XW are different hardware, with XW
