hi,
just installed ubuntu 12.04 from the final cd and had the volume turned
way down. fortunately i have a keyboard with volume keys so i was able
to turn it back up.
on a laptop it also works with fn+arrow up.

You can select the language on the boot line lang=en is the default, but
try another installation using lang=hu and see if you have better luck.

I'm playing around with Precise, and I've noticed that if I run
something like
$ sudo gedit /etc/modules
I get no speech in the gedit session. Orca is working fine elsewhere.
Any tips on what I should do?

Hi all.
After I apply some updates, I can not switch to console mode pressing
ctrl+alt+f1.
If for example I am in a terminal session and press ctrl+alt+f1, some
garbage appear in the terminal and nothing happen.
