[Ubuntu-apps-bugs] [Bug 1261417] [NEW] gallery-app trunk FTBFS on trusty

2013-12-16 Thread Olivier Tilloy
Public bug reported:

Since a recent change somewhere in the trusty stack, gallery-app fails
to build from source with the following error when running cmake:

CMake Error: Error required internal CMake variable not set, cmake may be
not be built correctly.
Missing variable is:
QT_MOC_EXECUTABLE

CI jobs for gallery-app ran successfully until last Wednesday
(2013-12-11), so the problem appeared sometime since then.

There hasn’t been any relevant change in gallery-app trunk since
November, so the issue was introduced by a change somewhere else in the
stack.

** Affects: gallery-app (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Ubuntu-apps-bugs] [Bug 1261473] [NEW] keyboard doesn't came back to text field after moving to and returning from application scope

2013-12-16 Thread Jamie Strandboge
Public bug reported:

I feel like I've seen this in various apps at various times, but the
Riddling app makes for an easily reproducible test. Steps to reproduce:

1. open a random app. eg, the music app
2. install Riddling from the app store and launch it
3. click in the text field, the keyboard should show up (it does, fine)
4. swipe right to left to move to the music app and the keyboard goes away
(fine)
5. swipe right to left to move back to Riddling. Keyboard is gone, but tapping
in text field brings up keyboard (fine)
6. swipe left to right to see the application scope, then click Riddling in
'Recent apps'. Keyboard is gone and tapping in text field does not bring up
keyboard, when it should

At this point, the app must be restarted for it to have a usable
keyboard again.

** Affects: ubuntu-keyboard (Ubuntu)
