[Ubuntu-apps-bugs] [Bug 1612378] [NEW] Use the space bar to change keyboard layout
Public bug reported: bq e4.5 OTA-12 To change the layout/language of the keyboard you have to tap the globe icon or, if you have more than 2 layouts, long-press that icon. In my opinion the better solution would be to use the space bar for changing languages/layouts. You would just swipe the space bar right or left to do that. Please see how android phones do that (Samsung at least) There's language name and arrows to indicate you can switch to other language ( like on this photo: http://cdn2.ubergizmo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/samsung-galaxy-s4-review-043-640x426.jpg ) On Ubuntu we already have the language name on the space bar :) ** Affects: ubuntu-ux Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: ubuntu-keyboard (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: ubuntu-ux Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Apps bug tracking, which is subscribed to ubuntu-keyboard in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1612378 Title: Use the space bar to change keyboard layout Status in Ubuntu UX: New Status in ubuntu-keyboard package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: bq e4.5 OTA-12 To change the layout/language of the keyboard you have to tap the globe icon or, if you have more than 2 layouts, long-press that icon. [Ubuntu-apps-bugs] [Bug 1603157] Re: closing a tab while browsing results in closing browsing completely
I see this also on BQ M10 including on OTA-12 current rc-proposed. There is no reliable to way to reproduce that I can find, but if I open multiple tabs and then close 1 of them there is a chance that it closes the whole browser. I don't think the browser is crashing, because I don't see crash reports listed that correspond. This is also mentioned in #1595348 ** Also affects: webbrowser-app Importance: Undecided Status: New ** No longer affects: webbrowser-app ** Also affects: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Apps bug tracking, which is subscribed to webbrowser-app in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1603157 Title: closing a tab while browsing results in closing browsing completely Status in Canonical System Image: Incomplete Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When you are browsing on the internet ( using native browser ) and you have multiple tabs open... then close 1 tab... then the browser closes completely.
