There is something really cool in that texture : that's completely
different from SuSE, Vista and OS X lines. Where Dapper wallpaper look
too much like OS X, that one is really distinctive.
Of course, color needs to be tweeked, but that's really nice.

I find that too glassy. Can you make a version that is as glassy as
dapper metacity theme or just a little more glassy ? I find this glassy
too sharp.

That completely depend on what wallpaper we use. If we use a dark
wallpaper, use light panel.

The textures are there to inspire and create new ideas, so it is
nice to see someone trying to use them as a leapboard. Thiago's
sample shows how we might be able to get some sort of glossy
effect across a background. It is worth brainstorming early
before everyone starts putting pen to paper
