Hi All,
I have a proposal theme for Egdy Eft. So far it includes GDM, splash

You can see it here:
Viper,
Your enthusiastic contributions are greatly appreciated, however, I
can't see myself looking at something with that color palette. The
parent's link to the color tool would definitely be a good starting
point to deriving a theme that is easier on the eyes.

Hello!
There are a few icons that are displayed on the default desktop. I'll
list them here:

Mozilla-Firefox
Evolution

My idea is to theme some of these icons orange. Here is a suggestion
for each of these:
Applications - Already Orange
Mozilla Firefox -
No, I'm referring to the round icons a la nautilus with human iconset.

Currently, the default About me icon is a little tiny white guy. This
does not scale well, and looks very poor on the Lock Screen dialog.
I've attached a (quick) image that could replace the little white guy:

Hello all,
I've been doing a lot of nay-saying with the current state of Human,
but I have been doing very little about it. I am interested in getting
started on some basic graphic design. Perhaps I can contribute more for

Frank,
Your usplash is really nice; it's probably the best one I've seen. The
rounded edges are a bunch better idea than just using black. I for one
would like to see the in dapper.
However, the limitations of usplash show. The edges of the Ubuntu icon
seem a bit jagged. Could

The current gray usplash is NOT dapper. Dapper drake is supposed to

Viper,
Your splashes all look very nice. They are a huge improvement over the
current. I do have a suggestion: perhaps you could tone down the orange
a tiny bit in the Ubuntu splash. Does the orange seem a little harsh to
anyone else? I'm attaching a modified version of your ubuntu splash,

Frank,
I really like this theme. Your theme even does something right that the
firefox default does not; everything is in the right prospective. In
firefox default, the home icon is at an angle where everything else is

The tangerine/human icon sets are looking very nice! :) But, I don't
feel that the green for the Accessories menu really fits the orange

Hello!
The Human icon theme is currently very nice, and near complete. I
noticed one hole that could probably be fixed pretty quickly. In
evolution, right click on a folder. There are icons for Copy, New
folder, Move, and Properties. New folder uses the human orange folder,
but the other icons
Community guys - Tangerine is looking great! Let's focus on priorities
6-8 in the http://daniel.holba.ch/ubuntu/ic/ list, so we can maximise
the total effective coverage of Human/Tango icons.
Mark, will tangerine be installed by default? I would hope so, as it
really compliments the human
One thing I did notice though, and this is somewhat off topic is that
when one puts the mouse cursor over an icon a little pop-up comes up
displaying firstly the application name and then it's description. The
description part of Abiword is the same as the name of the application -
Abiword
Excuse my ignorance, what is the fdo desktop file? Would what you
recommended above solve that problem then? :)
Should I stick this in a bug report against Abiword, or could I just
change it myself without asking (we obviously know it could do with
being changed). Mind you I could do with
