* Can not connect to VPN of most modern Cisco Servers in Ubuntu Jammy. [Scope] * from Lunar network-manager-openconnect/1.2.8-3 and network-manager-openconnect-gnome/1.2.8-3 * to Jammy [Other Info] * Openconnect is an alternative to Cisco's Anyconnect. Cisco seems to have changed (undocumented) the rule for connecting to it's VPN servers (see e.g. https://gitlab.com/openconnect/openconnect/-/issues/665). A user-agent starting with "AnyConnect" ist required to connect which is not the current default value of openconnect. * There are two ways to solve the issue: a) change the default user agent string in openconnect (as discussed in the above link). This solution might be unstable as Cisco could change the required string again. b) enable editing the user agent using network-manager-opencast(-gnome) which works in 1.2.8-3 ** Affects: network-manager-openconnect (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- BPO] network-manager-openconnect(-gnome)/1.2.8-3 from lunar to jammy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2039070 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is subscribed to the bug report. -- ubuntu-backports mailing list ubuntu-backports@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-backports
