How do I know whether Ubuntu has detected my LAN card?

Sorry I could not connect with the Internet even with Ubuntu 9.04 desktop

You should describe ur net type and procedure to be connected
prescribed by ur ISP.

ডায়াল করে ISP এর সাথে কানেক্ট হই। কিন্তু উবুন্টু তে অনেক চেষ্টা করেও PPPOE
এর মাধ্যমে কানেক্ট হতে পারছিনা। আমার LAN এর সংযোগ ঠিক ভাবেই কাজ করছে। PPPOE
