I have successfully installed the Moblin Image Creator on a 64 bit
Ubuntu 7.4 system. However, if I try to add a project (platform:
mccaslin, tried different paths on different devices) it stalls in the

TALVEZ pelo fdisk, se você remover a partição /dev/hdb3 e criar uma nova
partição. Claro que isto envolverá formatação.
Também não há necessidade de que isto seja assim. Não há problemas em o hdb2

efeitos do desktop na janela de aparências.
Sugiro que procure no Synaptic pelos pacotes com o nome emerald, que é um
gestor de decoração de janelas usado pelo compiz (não é o único). Instale
ele e o configurador dele,

Pode ser que o servidor de atualização esteja fora do ar.
Vá em Sistema - Administração - Canais de Software, lá tem um campo
Baixar de, troque para outro servidor e veja se funciona.

Mesmo que você preencha essa senha, ele vai entrar no login do root e não
vai executar os comandos seguintes antes que o root faça logout.

Como os drivers e soft são para windows, procurei rodar pelo Wine, mas
apenas o setup rodou tranquilo, o programa não funfou.

Eu tenho o V300 a 3 anos, e simplesmente eu não ouso tentar baixar as
fotos, tenho 2 desktop com windows, um 2000 e outro XP.
Sempre é muito demorado, tenho de resetar a máquina várias vezes até que ele
conecte. Mesmo atualizando o software não mudou nada, as vezes ele só
conecta a
Pelo visto vou ter que ficar com o driver livre mesmo, mas até que ele não
ta tão ruim, eu consigo rodar alguns mapas do cube 2 sem problemas. Mas tem
uma coisa que eu não to conseguindo entender, eu instalei o driver da ATI
pelo adicionar/remover programas, e não sei se esse é o livre ou o

Ao tentar ativar os efeitos visuais do compiz no Hardy, aparece a seguinte
mensagem para mim: Efeitos da Área de Trabalho não puderam ser ativados.

Colega, é o script /usr/bin/compiz que tá rejeitando ser carregado, eu
tive um notebook com o mesmo problema.
Existe uma linha que voce acrescenta nesse script para ele não
detectar a compatibilidade com sua placa de video e vai funcionar
perfeitamente.

Se for como o meu.. Vai precisar alterar uma linha no alsa-base.
Quando eu migrei de distro, minha placa de som Intel HDA simplesmente ficou
com o som baixo, então tive que alterar a ultima linha do
/etc/modprob.d/alsa-base
adicionando:
options snd-hda-intel model=auto
Só isso.
