I agree, but the UI should make it possible to enable the nobody account
instead of having to resort to the command line.
On the other hand, an even better method would be to somehow block incoming
connections on internet IP ranges for samba. It should really never be used
on the internet.

Dapper will not be updated to a new kernel release. However, if you can
pinpoint the changeset that fixes this problem it can possible be
backported into dapper.
Edgy has 2.6.17, so assuming fixed there.

On page 9 of the pypy summary for the last phase, there is an image that gets
garbled.
Changing zoom levels causes it to display right (or wrong again). It isn't
entirely reproducible, but at least two people have experienced this :/

xserver-kdrive was updated recently during the Edgy development cycle. I
wasn't able to reproduce this bug on i386 and amd64, using either the
old version of Xephyr, or the current one.
If possible, please test against current version on Edgy, and reopen
this bug
