I can confirm this.
Not sure if is by design, or a design fault.
Might be caused by a feature which tries to prevent opening multiple
child windows.
When trying to reproduce the bug. Alternativly, press ESC on step 4.
Whatever button the mouse was resting on, will be inactive until the
mouse
I applied the above patch and produced a debdiff. Its attached.

I have come up with a way to reproduce this crash. It seems to be
triggered by some GNOME functionality which may or may not be supported
in Ubuntu but is configured by Mandriva by default. (We switched
recently and mostly kept our home directories intact.)

I see the following icons wherever a drive list is displayed:

IBM_PRELOAD (this is hda1)

As you can see, there is a duplicate for each entry. I have fstab as

I can confirm this. I noticed that if I enter my password before
network-manager renews wifi connection, everything is fine. But, if I
don't enter my password that fast, in the same time when network-manager
renews wifi connection (can be seen by a flash of a notification in
upper right corner,
It looks like this problem is gone in Knot 3 of Edgy. :) Thank you to
whoever fixed it.
