It's incredible, but now it don't crash anymore!
I've enabled a lot of plugins, disabled them, but gaim closes normally!!
I have not seen any update recently related to gaim, but every day i
upgrade my edgy with a lot of updates...

compiz/XGL? if it's also happening with compiz/XGL, it could be a compiz

Both work, but print only a little less A5 printout on the A4 page, in
portrait mode. [This can explain the smaller file...]
Note that the original .ps file was landscape (or was printed landscape,
one thing that i've not noted before are that if i print in portrait
mode, work).

Hi!
Checking with more deep, i've seen that although closing normally, gaim
generates a core file (about 25MB) in my home dir.
So, doing some tests i think i found the problem. It's related to
libnotify plugin, that i've installed from
http://repository.debuntu.org/
