There normally are logs when installing from the live CD. I didn't ask
for them in the live-CD-specific installer just for fun, you know. :-)
Anyway, this particular error is usually due to a faulty CD/DVD disk or
drive. It may help to clean the CD/DVD, to burn the CD/DVD at a lower
speed, or to
the file is not required, gdm uses the standard GNOME theme if the
selected theme is not present. On a standard Ubuntu installation the gdm
Human theme is installed if you remove ubuntu-desktop you are responsive
to making sure you keep packages you need installed

On my external computer monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 193T) I get only a
error message video mode not supported during startup and shutdown.
On the laptop monitor (Dell Latitude C840, Nvidia GForce4 440 Go)
everything works fine. The external monitor is connected with VGA.
Reinstalled nautilus-data and all seems well again.
Background:
I do not nor have I ever installed automatix, I only have pure Ubuntu (main,
restricted, *verse) packages installed on this machine.

Server kernel is configured with PAE support (i.e. 4GB support). Not
all CPU's support this (Mostly laptops that don't...)

Hi,
I am currently importing data from a webpage using copy and paste. The
text is copied from a textarea box (in Firefox), and then pasted
straight into my spreadsheet. When I paste into the spreadsheet, I am
see a prompt asking me how I'd like to import the text, which
I can confirm this on both AMD64 and x86.

I have Identical issues as O.P. with very similar card
DWL510 Worked great in dapper but getting the frequent disconnects/reconnects
with Edgy..
Edgy show it as

This still appears in Edgy. In bug 59210, which seems to be a duplicate
of this bug, it is stated that this has been fixed in Java 1.6:

Public bug reported:
I opened a JPG file in gimp, resized it, and saved it as a PNG. I then
used the PNG in a html page as an image, and when I loaded the page in
the browser, gimp crashed.
Since I'm using edgy, the crash reporting thing popped up and saved a
crash file. I then installed
I tried to reproduce this and failed, so it doesn't seem to be a problem
in all cases at least.
