for edgy, there is already a newer version available via edgy-backports.
For dapper this will follow soon.
We've been considering to shove the newer dosemu-freedos through
-updates, but the changes were too disruptive.

A very easy work-around is to append "vga=795" as a kernel parameter in
/boot/grub/menu.lst, e.g. in the line directly after "...ro quiet
splash" if you have a 1280x1024 display. Take an appropriate other value
for a different screen resolution (773 for 1024x768). This enables the
frame buffer mode
Europe/Oslo is, in fact, one hour ahead of Europe/London...
could the case be that the current ical parser is unable to handle
multiple time zones??

Happening to me too on a Dell Inspiron 9400 - kio_audiocd uses close to
100% cpu and never does anything useful. cdparanoia seems to work OK.
Kubuntu 6.06 with all updates to 12 Dec 2006.
While I get the sg_write kernel messages (from both cdparanoia and
kio_audiocd), it looks like there is a memo
