It happened again. More system files got deleted. I was logged in and
noticed because apt wasn't working. Here is a copy of my fstab. The
messages file isn't working for some reason (it was probably one of the
deleted inodes files this time. Also all the other files in the
/var/log directory
I tried to used the 'usb' binary provided by Till Kamppeter and I no
longer have any problems. Great job on fixing the issue!
As for AlterEgo's comment on his USB storage which disconnects. I tried
to hook up my iPod Shuffle via USB and turn my printer off and on to see
if the iPod got
When I try to login through kdm with a user which has not used kde
before, I don't get a .xsession-errors
So instead I uploaded syslog, please look at the error at the end of the
syslog.
Also I can't upload more than one file at a time to launchpad. Please

This is probably the same as bug 409170. Disabling the visualization plugin
(or enabling visualization) should stop it hanging.
