Same problem for me. I compiled a new kernel (2.6.19.3) which didn't
start up, so I rebooted back into kernel 2.6.17.11-generic, and beagled

Yes. Since I've posted this I've downgraded to Dapper from Edgy. While
it doesn't happen quite as often here it does happen from time to time

I only had that problem when I tried the nordic-desktop 6.10 cd
(downloaded from ubuntu's website but apparently not supported by them
:/ ). Downloaded the original cd and it installed just fine. Think you
should wait until Feisty is released (it's only a month away). At least
that's what I'm

kmplayer 0.9.3-0ubuntu1 on kubuntu edgy. This was working earlier in
edgy, so it is possible that a recent update changed things.

I don't think so. I'm running firefox as user as it's configured by
default with Ubuntu. I can copy, create and delete files from firefox.
Also, I can save files directly in Konqueror. Firefox seems to be the
only application having problems with that partition.

This appears not to be a problem with that particular package,
but here I'm looking at my Adept Manager under Manage Repositories, and I don't
see anything about edgy-updates/universe.
Could you tell me how to do that?
