Running feisty. I don't know if it's the same bug, but my system hangs
when I do this:
- I login as user A
- I use the Switch user... option to go back to the login window.
- Then I login as user B
- Now if I want to go back to user A, I select Switch user... again, but then I
get a black screen,

Yes, does not happen with i386. And like I also told above, setting any vga=NNN
(NNN being a number, not "ask" etc.) works also on amd64, but without it (ie.
by default) it crashes. On my computer, the caps lock does not flash, whether
or not the keyboard is connected via USB or USB-to-P
Sorry Timo - I overlooked your comment. Here's the syslog. It works now
because I went in and edited xorg.conf myself - but I assume the bug is
still there. I will test this with a live CD anytime someone thinks it's
fixed.

FWIW, this is a likely bad idea. The kvm binary in this case might not
be tied to any other libraries in its package, but that's no guarantee
for future use. Older packages, if not in the repositories, can still
often be found in the pool.

wpasupplicant is using well defined interfaces (wext). this is rather a
bug in the bcm43xx driver, so I opened a bugtask for the kernel 2.6.15
source.
Btw, did have the chance to retry with edgy (2.6.17) or feisty (2.6.20)?

hardly a wpasupplicant bug. I don't think it is a problem nor bug for
wpa_supplicant to dump credentials when called with -dd (double debug).
Might be an issue in network-manager, please open a seperate bugtask for

I can confirm that this bug is still present in the latest Feisty
kernel. On boot the module will not be loaded until manually
'modprobe'd. After which dvb does work correctly.

5.97-5.2ubuntu3. Looking at the package listing only the info file for
coreutils exists. This could be worked around by using 'info
coreutils'.

AIGLX/XGL issue, because gnome-terminal has the same transparency as
xchat(-gnome) has with metacity.

(mime.convs and mime.types) are both in /etc/cups.

Can also confirm this bug on Edgy x86 32bit using a Dell Latitude D620
(ipw3945). Seeing this with both with WPA and WPA access points. When
connecting to an AP by directly using wpa_supplicant without
NetworkManager no disconnects appear.
