this might be a proposal which handles multi cores (I think, because I don't

I tried to use notify-bin (from libnotify-bin) but it does not work in acpi
I'm experiencing the same problem with this dongle. It worked fine with
Edgy but I can't get it to work with Feisty.

We had some import and generation problems with the localisation, since
we reorganized the source code strcuture.
I mentioned this issue on the translator mailing list yesterday. We will
make the translation available as soon as a new version of s-p is

Similar problem in Feisty. There exist strings which are not available
for localization in gnome-btdownload package in Rosseta.
As example, there is no way of translating item menu file (application →
internet → GNOME BitTorent) and its popup ("Download files with
BitTorent").

We allready removed many hardcoded strings and make use of lsb_release
to detect the distro. Debian has got a quite old version of update-
manager.
Furthermore we should use the components and the corresponding labels
from python-apt. Currently the Ubuntu repo componets are hardcoded.

An updated Snort 2.6 would not be a free intrusion prevention system,

I know why the gksu dialog looks like this, what I'm suggesting is that
something be done to make it look nicer. So even though we dont use the
window manager to avoid a password attack, the dialog would look nicer
if it did somehow but still avoided the attack... i dont really know

Feisty 5 - Will not install or run on HP DV90
I can confirm this bug, nothing with rt2500 works after i upgrade from herd 5.
Vanilla herd 5 works very good.
This is a showstopper for a lot of people in ubuntuforums (feisty fawn)

Purposefully trying to break the Upgrade Tool:
1. At the start it listed 1856 packages to upgrade.
2. On package #2 I turned off my wireless LAN
3. No error messages...nor did the tool produce any indicators of loss of
network connectivity to flag the user that something was wrong...the time

gnome-keyboard-properties cannot be localized. If you look for strings
that exist there, you will find them in the xkeyboard-config
localization package. The problem is, gnome-keyboard-properties don't

I get some "interresting" behaviour, when I do hostname and hostname -f:
hostname:
"myHostName"
hostname -f:
"hostname: Unknown host"
In my /etc/hosts I have:

to hide your username didn't work and would have made it hard to help
