I think I've identified the problem.
When the system boot in BusBox I've a wrong disk order and naming.
I attached /proc/partitions in the correct boot case.
SCSI disks are sdb and sdc. SATA disk is sda
Looking in /proc/partitions in BusyBox shows that SCSI disks become sda and sdb
and SATA disk

I solved installing the nvidia driver from the nvidia installer (I used
the lastest usable non-legacy driver). Be sure to delete all the nvidia
related package and the linux-restrincted-module-(generic i386 ...) I
think that the previews problem is that the legacy driver is too old!

I've the same problem. Sometimes laptop works fine after wakeup from

Bugs,
Totem-gstreamer does not have DVD support. Unless someone sits down and
adds full support for it, you are all better off with totem-xine or VLC.
The company that does a lot of gstreamer work (sorry, can't remember the
name) can't add DVD support for legal reasons. It will have to be a
community

AIR is a really nice GUI frontend for 'dd' that newbies will find less
intimidating and more useful. I already has a very easy to use
installer, but I think Ubuntu and Debian should include this
