Democracy has now also thrown a few errors while processing the
Diggnation feed and redirects it to the democracy site embedded in the
browser. However, restarting Democracy shows the feed being processed
properly and the first download begins, but has another feed which I
didn't add called odtv2
Cyrond - you're right. The screen should be black. This is a gnome-
screensaver bug - I've reproduced this with the nv driver.
Description of the problem:
The blank screen sometimes appears grey (same colour as the toolbar panel)
rather than black.

I received today's (4/12) updates and my internet still won't come on
automatically, like it did for the previous version of Ubuntu. Feisty seems
to have a bug here. I've got my system, as it did before, set for direct
connection to access my ATT DSL, and the network is set for

dpkg -S) but it wasn't a part of current version. Try to manually remove
(sudo rm) all duplicate files (from both x11-common and xinit packages)

entered the kernel somewhere between 2.6.20-rc 1 and rc4 and it is ACPI-

I'm running an up to date kubuntu feisty. The computer is a linux
Certified 2210D laptop which is built on a Uniwill 245II0.
To reproduce, I boot the system, log into KDE via KDM, then select

it was a restart of the machine and when it came back on it vanished. i dont
have a problem though coz i know how to get it back but my responded to it
as the system was unstable.

nvidia-legacy has been broken for several days now with 2.6.20-14-386.
Rebooting to 2.6.20-13 seems to work.
/var/log/Xorg.0.log says:

I share the same concerns as franzb. This bug could affect a large
number of computers out there, and Ubuntu's reputation will suffer when
the latest release doesn't even boot on many of the machines where older
releases worked correctly. This was a problem with Edgy compared to
