I ran into this bug yesterday - I can absolutley confirm the bug. The
inqmode 0 didn't seem to do anything for me - I'll test the rc.local

Sorry I can't help you with the actual resuming. My problem was that
resume asks for the device file or wants enter to be pressed and if I
boot through the default grub-option (with usplash on) it will just hang
there. Booting via safe mode lets me press enter so I can continue.

Since Firefox 2.0, adding ui.allow_platform_file_picker set to false

I upgraded from Edgy to Feisty (laptop DELL Inspiron 6000)
Any inserted discs are about to mount but the popup that shows the mounting
