This bug report is being closed due to your last comment regarding this
being fixed with a configuration change. There was no resume option set
in your menu.lst file and subsequently the system was not resuming your
saved state. By updating your menu.lst file we were able to resolve
this issue.
Reproduced using openoffice.org version 2.2.0-1ubuntu3. An automatic
crash report was generated and retraced in bug 115115. However, the
retrace doesn't seem particularly useful. It would be helpful if you
could try and reproduce this issue with the upstream version of
OpenOffice.org. Thanks!

being able to start Azureus, and needing to restart it often because of
stalls, running it from the CLI and viewing the debug output was rather
worrying as well (many exceptions being thrown). This fixed it perfectly

I have noticed that if acpi is disabled, then dvd/cdrom drive works properly,
but this does not comprise a complete solution since it causes other problems.
For example, in my laptop after I have set the acpi=off, sound card is not
working.
