I have the same problems with a 22 inch widescreen (1680x1050) and intel
965. There are no options for widescreen resolutions in the display
settings. I am running at a lower resolution to avoid the cut off edges,

I've attached a file from /var/crash that (hopefully) outlines what is
happening. I've experienced this crash on both Xubuntu Gutsy Gibbon
AMD64-alternate and -I386-desktop cd. The first test was from the iso
dated 2007-06-05.1, and the second test was from the live cd iso - dated
2007.06.06
So what is the next step? This bug is still marked needs info when it
has a confirmed working patch.

I have a similar problem. I am using a MacBook and the Bluetooh mouse
from Apple. When I reverse mouse buttons, I get the same behavior.
I think it's an xorg issue; I saw the same behavior with USB mouse with
X terminals, even though I am unsure of how to reproduce this problem
with other setups.
After the last time, it didn't even recognise the CD anymore. It did

So, Totem's handling of this file is incorrect. If you have a totem crash file
in the /var/crash directory, it may be useful to attach to this bug.
If not, we can determine whether this is a bug in Totem or in the GStreamer
engine by trying to play the AVI with the following command
To summarise the work around:
Install the build dependencies
$ sudo apt-get build-dep python-clearsilver
$ sudo apt-get install python-dev
Download the 0.10.4 version (as it contains fixes for python2.5)
$ wget http://www.clearsilver.net/downloads/clearsilver-0.10.4.tar.gz
$ tar xzvf
