Same problems here with Fiesty (AMD64), a Nokia 3110c cell phone, a
Sony-Ericsson W300i phone and a Canon PowerShot G6 digital camera. The
system just randomly hangs with nothing particularly interesting in

The new Xorg server should be able to query monitor by itself for DDC edid info
about it's capatibilities. This functionality works for me if I leave out
monitor specific information from my Xorg.conf like this:
Section Monitor
IdentifierGeneric Monitor
OptionDPMS
EndSection
A fix has been released with latest svn revision (r1605) and is working.

I can launch spe with Feisty, could you check with a live cd if it works
