I experienced the matter coming from ubuntu to ubuntu studio. There is a
mistake with a dependency of the ardour package of ubuntu wich make a

To update Feisty to Gutsy i have made this steps:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade; sudo apt-get dist-upgrade; sudo
apt-get autoclean; sudo apt-get clean
i changed all reference of feisty to gutsy into /etc/apt/sources.list
and i made sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade; sudo
The problem no longer occurs. I don't know why it did before. I have
changed a few things, but I'm not sure what fixed it. Maybe the bug
should just be removed, since I posted it and I can't reproduce it.
Then again, maybe there is a quirk somewhere that makes it happen. I
don't know.

with an Intel DG33BU motherboard (pretty new, G33 + ICH9 chipset) with a

I don't see a crash in either Xorg.0.log file would it be possible for
you to recreate the crash and then add the log file from the crash?

I use nautilus to connect to my ftp site and it asks for user name and password
than gives me 3 choices i choose always remember password.
Everytime i log out and than log in it still prompts me for username and
password, i go to
The issue remains on Feisty-2.60.20-15-generic.
As the choice was to have a non-stable os or a non-stable os... I just
went for gusty and in my case I found that noapic nolapic parameters for
kernel boot seem to solve the problem on 2.6.22-7-generic
