Upgrading would certainly be useful, especially if it results in having the
amd64 architecture
supported. Currently I do mkautoinstallcd I get:
mkautoinstallcd
I'm terribly sorry, but I don't yet know how to make an
autoinstall CD for the x86_64 architecture.
Also if one runs updateclient

@t2000kw: If that is your decision, then by all means. Ubuntu is not for
everyone (yet). However, I wouldn't be surprised if Canonical's support
teams might have been able to provide you a custom workaround (if
necessary) if you had bought the right kind of SLA, similar to how other
companies deal

I have just tried using GKrellM, with lm-sensors installed. I get No
sensors detected as well (same issue with hardware monitor panel applet
in Gnome). I really need to know that my CPU is not cooking as I intend
to do some CPU-intensive stuff in the next few days.
I just re-read this bug report

Yes, sorry. The problem was solved for me when I upgraded to Feisty. I
am currently running Gutsy, and I do not have the problem here either.
I left the bug open, because as far as I know, it still happens with
Edgy. But feel free to close the bug if you wish. I wasn't sure what
to do with it.
