Fwiw, bulletproof-x is just a failsafe mode for X, and wouldn't have any

I'm running gutsy tribe-4 on a System76 Z62F laptop. When I press on the
hibernate button on the keyboard, nothing happens. However, when I press
on the sleep button, the machine sleeps.

Thanks for having confirmed this bug. Advantage of packaging Firefox
addons as Ubuntu packages is that you can install them (and manage
upgrades) for an entire system and for all users at once. Also when
users are not allowed to install addons this is a better way to manage
them
