I'm seeing what looks like the same bug in gutsy. Once I right-click on
a file and the filename entry opens, most of the time nautilus accepts
no more key strokes whatsoever. Left cursor doesn't work, CTRL-space
doesn't nor do any of the normal keys.
The issue feels like some kind of race

xset dpms force off make the screen go blank but not power off.

Performed a dist-upgrade from feisty to gutsy on a Toshiba Satellite
A100. Unfortunately, the new kernel (2.6.22-9.25, snd-hda-intel) only
outputs barely-audible levels of sound, even with with the volume at
maximum.

I run compiz (installed from synaptic) with 3 desktops.
I run Ubuntu more than 12hours. (In gutsy the runtime is less than half hour.)
I switch to tty2.
Then I switch back to tty7 (graphical session), and
i see only
...then I unplug power cable. The system started normally, with compiz
and the 3 desktop with wobbly windows + etc.
I must enable the ssh remote access. :-(

I confirm the same problem in Gutsy, with kernel 2.6.22-9-generic, in a Sony
Vaio VGN-FS415B.
It just gives me a delay at boot, the graphic boot image disappears and it
continues normally in console mode. Afterwards, the system looks to work rather
smoothly.

The bug seems to happen only when the mouse cursor is on the right side
of the screen. The behavior is normal when the cursor x coordinate
screen width/2.

I can confirm that behavior, although I have a different wireless
network card (Broadcom chipset running with ndiswrapper). The laptop is
a Dell Inspiron 1721 and the network works properly.

I don't see a busybox bug here. busybox provides reduced versions of a
number of userspace utility programs, and has little to do with
suspending.

I have all the current updates to Gusty and I am seeing the same thing.
I have no clue as to what is actually wrong.
There is no option to revert to an old version.
I don't know what these things from the change log really mean.

I used synaptic to uninstall the vpnc for gusty, and then installed
vpnc_0.3.3+SVN20051028-3ubuntu2_amd64.deb (my install is an AM64) and vpnc
seems to work fine now.

Is this problem solved meanwhile? Because I have exactly the same
problem when running Abiword under Xubuntu 7.04 with Japanese language
support installed, where default language is set to Japanese.
Actually, I first tried to use Abiword with English as default language,
it worked, but then
Replicable on Macbook first generation with Gutsy, but here setting GPM
to do nothing simply do nothing, as in the light remains on. Either
lshal -m doesn't show anything different when moving the mouse.
